On the South Central Community Based Initiative Message Board there is a recent post by the admin titled May is Mental Health Month. The question is:
What are you doing to observe May as Mental Health Month? Share with us, or give suggestions that someone else may want to do.
I don’t have an answer for this yet. If you do, please visit the links above.
Indirectly related, yesterday I noticed a wrong phone number for the Warm Line showing on the South Central Community Based Initiative web site. It was on a graphic displayed on the left-hand side of their site. This morning I saw it had been corrected.
The wrong phone number showing for the Warm Line was 1-800-377-2460, and the correct number now showing is 1-800-337-2460. The phone number for the crisis line was correct, and that number is 1-800-233-9929.
So if you ever had trouble calling the Warm Line, check the number you have listed for them. I don’t know how long it showed up incorrectly. I have a handy refrigerator magnet three years old — which shows the right phone number — that I used when I originally posted the information on this site (upper-right column) several months ago. If you have a similar magnet, the number printed on it is the correct one.
